Current Research Activities of Self Knowledge Base & Foundation in Collaboration with others

Our research is focused on working globally and identifying how some individuals are able to achieve
emotional balance more than others. In addition, we are interested in research related to children's
emotional and mental well being. It has come to our attention that today’s research is somehow more
focused on disorders and dysfunction and less on positive states of being a human and functionality.
Our studies focus on both sides of the picture, what is working and what is not working or needs to
change or evolved.   Our future research plan is to concentrate on and combine the West and the East
of the globe and perform comparative studies related to emotional well being.

Dr. Todd Kashdan is a professor at George Mason University and an author and Dr. Aaron Jordan
who is the president of the
New Zealand positive psychology association  are conducting a study
about well being around the globe.  Our organization was invited to help them with this study.  More
information about this study can be found on

In addition, there are a number of clips of our recent activities which will be posted on the website
with the intention of bringing awareness through inspirational stories from all around the world.

The clip below is about an interview with a gentleman from Middle East who wanted to sell his kidney
for what he reported as his family’s survival expense.  In Iran, sale of kidney is legal and selling one’s
kidney is more like a market which is standardized and regulated by the government with not much
room for negotiation.  There are two sides to whether this is ethical or unethical and my interview’s
intention is not to go either way creating another one of the debating cycles.  My interview’s goal is to
listen to this gentleman’s story and share it with those interested to bring awareness to some of what
is going on around globe.

Being human, we all have an innate need to understand ourselves and a part of that can be
comprehended and evenhanded by understanding and being aware of what is going on around us.
Living in a state of avoidance, denial, and ignorance will limit our true potential from reaching to its
fullest state.
